On Sunday, nearly 6,000 riders, young and old, beginner and experienced, will take to the streets for the Hub On Wheels citywide ride and festival to help raise money for Boston Public School Students. The night before, more than two hundred top professional racers, including Olympic cyclists and national champions, will descend on Government Center for high speed, fast-action racing. Take in the professional action on Saturday and be part of the fun on Sunday!
Hub on Wheels is Boston's only citywide bike ride and festival, and the largest city-sponsored sporting event. Imagine being able to bike down Storrow Drive with no cars to get in your way. It's an experience you'll never forget.
A GREAT TIME.
Hub on Wheels is designed just for you. Follow the scenic 10 mile route (just one hour) with your family and friends, or challenge yourself on the hilly 50 mile route. Can't decide? Try the 30 mile ride. You'll see families, friends, neighbors, and co-workers. Hub On Wheels is a ride, not a race, and it's open to everyone. But beyond that, it's a celebration of the city and a great time for one and all. In addition to riding down a car-free Storrow Drive, you'll enjoy harbor views and hidden pathways, river greenways and Boston's wonderful eclectic neighborhoods. Take in the Emerald Necklace, Franklin Park, Stony Brook Reservation, and the Arnold Arboretum up close and personal with a great group of fellow cyclists.
A FABULOUS CAUSE.
It's an experience that will benefit thousands of Boston families. Proceeds from Hub On Wheels help Boston Public Schools students get the technology and skills they need to succeed in today s world.
